I Have The Best Community Celebration!

When is the last time you really appreciated the people you hang around with most of the time? If you can't think of any great reason your normal crowd should be appreciated, then maybe it's time to find a new community. That's what I found in my life. For awhile I had a lot of negativity around me and even though I focused on being positive, it drained me. I now choose to surround myself with some of the best people.

This week's celebration I'm going to do some bragging about how inspiring it has been to work with these five people. As we meet together each week, we have built unstoppable momentum and on the days that motivation is missing, it's the inspiration from this safety net community that always pulls us back up. No need to personally boss or bully myself into action but instead be moved by clear intention around the impact I intend to have.

I'm proud of the members of my community that have stuck with it for three years. Every week we have met to celebrate, stay on track, and talk through what has us stuck and each member has built such momentum. I love what I see.

Joanna and Heidi

I've seen Joanna, who is a ball of wonderful energy that should be spread all over the world, define and clarify what she really wanted to accomplish with music and with that, it was easy to get her connected to the resources she needed to take the next step. Check out Joanna on the Believe Retreat!

Kelly Brodazoffa

Brody Brodazoffa

I've seen Kelly and Brody from the Brodazoffa turn their passion project of a music venue in their backyard to a legit business. They have doubled their events this year and automated a lot of their systems making it much easier to manage through the summer when everything is happening. Their first show for 2025 is this weekend! https://brodazoffawi.com/

Guilherme

I've seen Guilherme from Brazil become an international touring artist, playing the hard rock and metal he loves every week while working on recording his own music and working as a guitar coach. He is so passionate about American culture and the efforts he is putting in now will be what he needs to one day play live for us in America. Which for his is a dream come true. Check out his playing or book a guitar session. https://www.instagram.com/guilherme_albergedesouza

Lorna Asbury Arts Studio

Lorna has a dance and music studio with so much to keep track of between lesson plans and teachers, ordering costumes, planning events, communicating with parents, and much more. She knows that burnout is one of the biggest hurdles in her business and she has been focused on creating a space for her teachers to be able to tap into their creativity to bring the best possible experience for the students. This environment starts with her sticking to that practice and she is doing awesome! Check out her studio here https://www.asburyartscenter.com/

Finally, I'm going to wrap my good news for the week with gratitude to Mike Cella, Kurt Towne, and Joe Pellegrino from Clay Radio for our interview about how AI will change the music industry. That interview will be airing next week. Until then you can stream Clay Radio Live
