Celebrating Progress: AI in Music + A Creative Writing Adventure
This week, I'm celebrating two exciting developments in my world—both centered around creativity, collaboration, and forward momentum.
1. Conversations Around AI in the Music Industry
I’ve had some amazing conversations this week with music industry professionals and musicians about artificial intelligence. Specifically, how they're using it (or not using it) in their work.
Most people admitted they feel overwhelmed by AI. It’s not that they aren’t interested. It’s that they don’t know where to start. On the flip side, those who have dipped their toes in are excited to explore more, especially because AI has saved them time on projects they didn’t particularly enjoy.
That’s why I’m so pumped for our upcoming online workshop: “How AI Will Affect the Music Industry (and How You Can Benefit)” on June 16th. Click to register.

Along with Cas Weinbren and Melanie Rodriguez, we’ve curated a simple, practical set of resources that starts by helping you get clear on what you’re working toward and why. From there, you’ll be able to quickly identify which AI tools could save you time or generate more revenue, fast.
2. Announcing the Believe Retreat Anthology Collaboration
Last week, the Believe Retreat for Creatives officially launched our Anthology Collaboration—a project that invites you to write a 1,000-word story that could not only transform your own life, but impact others as well. If you missed the announcement, read more about it here
This week, I’ve been sharing details about three upcoming pre-collaboration events designed to help you write your story with purpose and confidence.
These online sessions are a perfect low-pressure way to get a taste of what it’s like to work alongside other creatives and to decide if joining us for our September retreat and published anthology project is the right next step for you.
So far I've only got the event posted for the Believe You Can Start event. Of course that is the first focus to begin any project and often the hardest step. This is where collaboration is very helpful. Join us and just get started!
